Seth Longhurst is a marketing strategist and Air National Guard military spouse dedicated to elevating underrepresented voices in the military community.
Passion areas:
Seth Longhurst is a lifecycle and product growth marketing leader with two decades of experience using data-driven strategies to bridge the gap between technology and people. He has led marketing efforts for major brands including Papa, PenFed Credit Union, and ExpertVoice—work rooted in clarity, communication, and a belief in meeting people where they are.
Seth became a military spouse in February 2025 and is the proud partner of Master Sergeant Kenneth Church of the Utah Air National Guard. As a same-sex spouse navigating the unique rhythms and realities of Guard life, Seth brings a fresh perspective to MFAN’s work. His husband serves full-time as a federal technician, giving Seth firsthand insight into the support gaps traditional Guardsmen often face—especially when balancing deployments, civilian careers, and limited access to active-duty resources.
Motivated by a desire to ensure that enlisted, Guard, and LGBTQ+ families are meaningfully included in policy and support efforts, Seth lends his voice and expertise to MFAN’s mission. He is passionate about using research, strategic messaging, and intentional listening to inform data-backed solutions.
Seth and Ken live in Salt Lake City with their dog, Jasper. He enjoys hiking in the Wasatch Mountains, mentoring emerging professionals, speaking through his local Toastmasters chapter, and discovering new restaurants with friends. Together, he and Ken share a love of skiing, travel, live music, and building community in and out of uniform.
