Alexandra Skrocki Ph.D.

Alexandra (Alex) Skrocki is an Ecosystem Evaluation Analyst at the Military Family Advisory Network, where she supports efforts to measure, evaluate, and communicate impact across the military family ecosystem. She brings expertise in mixed-methods research, program evaluation, and implementation science, with a background in applied research across youth development and public health settings. Alex is passionate about bridging research and practice by translating complex data into actionable insights that help organizations strengthen programs, improve implementation, and make evidence-informed decisions. She earned her Ph.D. in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Management from Clemson University and holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science from Texas A&M University. As a military kid, Alex finds it especially meaningful to apply her research and evaluation expertise in support of military-connected families.

Alexandra (Alex) Skrocki is an applied researcher and evaluator with a passion for turning data into meaningful insights that help organizations strengthen programs and improve outcomes for the communities they serve. In her role as Ecosystem Evaluation Analyst at the Military Family Advisory Network, Alex supports the planning, implementation, and communication of evaluation and impact assessment efforts across the military family ecosystem.

Alex brings expertise in mixed-methods research, program evaluation, and implementation science. Her work spans the research and evaluation lifecycle, including study design, instrument development, multi-site data collection, quantitative and qualitative analysis, data visualization, and translating findings for practitioners and organizational leaders. She is particularly interested in understanding not only whether programs and policies are effective, but also how organizational processes, readiness, and context influence their implementation and impact.

Prior to joining MFAN, Alex conducted applied research across youth development and public health settings, with a focus on program quality, mental, emotional, and social health, and the implementation of evidence-based practices in youth-serving organizations. Her work included leading multi-site research and evaluation initiatives, strengthening data collection and evaluation processes, and translating research findings into practical recommendations for organizations and practitioners. Across her work, she is guided by a belief that rigorous research is most valuable when it is accessible, actionable, and used to create meaningful change for individuals, families, and communities.

Alex earned her Ph.D. in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Management from Clemson University and holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science from Texas A&M University. She lives in South Carolina with her dog, Totley, and enjoys spending much of her free time outdoors.
