The Right Stuff

October 08, 2020

These days, between working at home and homeschooling our kids, most of our lives seem spent glued to screens. But what if that time wasn’t another of a million Zoom calls? Or a teacher trying to corral a group of kids via video?  What if instead, you and your whole family could spend some quality screen time together?

Well, strap yourselves in because in 3…2…1… (technically streaming on October 9th) we’re about to blast off into “The Right Stuff,” brought to you by National Geographic Lands on Disney+!

We’re talking all our favorite things here – family-friendly entertainment, adventure and exploration, space, and – our most favorite of favorite things – military families!

Grab your favorite kids of all ages (in a COVID-safe way of course) and some popcorn and settle in for the incredible story of America’s first astronauts (all military test pilots) and their families. Families like our very own who knew what it was like to send loved ones off to face the unknown.

“The Right Stuff” looks at the early days of the U.S Space Program and the team of the Mercury 7. Brought to you by Leonardo DiCaprio’s Appian Way and Warner Bros. television (for National Geographic), the 8-episode season begins with a two-episode premiere on October 9th. The series stars Disney+ Original Series Stars Patrick J. Adams, Jake McDorman, Colin O’Donoghue, James Lafferty, Aaron Staton, Michael Trotter, and Micah Stock as America’s first astronauts.

We can’t think of a better time to be reminded of how ordinary human beings can achieve the extraordinary!
