The American Red Cross Serving Northwest Washington also offers a “Coping with Deployments,” “Psychological First Aid for Military Families” and “Reconnection Workshops” to support military members, veterans and their families during any stage of the deployment cycle. Classes and workshops are free, taught by licensed, active mental health professionals who are Red Cross volunteers, and are taught in a confidential environment.
