The American Red Cross offers a variety of services to military personnel and their dependents. Services include emergency verification and reporting, counseling in personal and family problems, financial assistance in meeting emergencies, disaster assistance and various courses such as CPR, first aid and water safety. The Red Cross also provides many opportunities for volunteer service in the base hospital, medical and dental clinics and in the main Red Cross office.
