Soldier for Life Transition Assistance Program provides transition assistance, guidance and support to service members, eligible Department of Defense civilian employees, and their Family members in preparation for their departure from active federal service, including information on benefits, job search training and assistance. Training in federal resume writing, starting a business, Troops to Teachers Program, advanced resume writing, and other topics are available. Fourteen trained counselors provide one on one assistance in a modern computer lab, including specialized systems such as ACAP XXI, Occubrowse Plus and other tools and templates.
