DATA DESIGNED FOR ACTION
- The Military Family Support Programming Survey is designed to capture the wide-ranging experiences of the military-connected community: active duty military personnel, National Guard members, reservists, veterans, retirees, spouses and partners, caregivers, and survivors.
- Findings span critical topics like child care, employment, family relationships, financial readiness, food insecurity, health and well-being, housing, military-to-civilian transition, and more.
- The 2023 report categorizes findings into four pillars — healthy bodies, healthy families, healthy homes, and healthy futures — and offers tangible recommendations to strengthen the well-being of military families, promote military-civilian relations, and sustain the all-volunteer force.
- MFAN’s research does not live on a shelf; it is designed for action and real-world application. The results from this survey lead to informed decision-making across public, private, and nonprofit sectors to create policies, programs, and resources that support family well-being and force readiness.
