Amy is the proud spouse of a retired U.S. Marine, mom to three energetic boys, and a champion for military families through movement, entrepreneurship, and service. A former professional soccer player with a background in finance and sport management, Amy’s journey took a new turn when she married her husband Brandun and began navigating the complexities of military life—career sacrifices included.
Determined to use her expertise to support her community, she founded Tiny Troops Soccer, a global developmental soccer program for children ages 2–4, now operating in over 50 locations. She also created Tiny Tot Soccer, an interactive curriculum for associations and preschools, ensuring physical activity and connection remain accessible to all young children. Her work has been spotlighted in Military Spouse Magazine, Sports Illustrated, and The Rosie Network, which named her the 2021 Inspirational Leader of the Year. She recently authored I Will Be Okay – Adventures of a Military Kid, a children’s book designed to support kids through the ups and downs of military transitions.
With a B.S. in Finance and an M.S. in Sport Management, plus certifications in group fitness, behavior change, and fitness nutrition, Amy combines her professional background with her lived experience to uplift military families through movement, resilience-building, and meaningful advocacy. Her passion for removing red tape around military spouse entrepreneurship stems from firsthand experience—navigating inconsistent policies and barriers across multiple installations while growing her business. She’s a fierce advocate for standardized, supportive processes for spouse-led enterprises, and for expanded programming that serves military kids of all ages.
Amy and her husband spent over a decade stationed around the world—including Camp Pendleton (CA), Kadena AFB (Japan), MCB Hawaii, and Camp Lejeune (NC)—with each of their three sons born at a different duty station. Now settled in her hometown of Danville, Illinois, Amy continues to coach and play soccer, hike with her family, and find joy in the everyday chaos of raising active boys. Whether she’s carpooling to soccer games, sneaking in a podcast, playing piano, or leading from the sidelines, she brings boundless energy, purpose, and heart to everything she does.
