Brittany Carlock is a communications professional with more than a decade of experience telling stories that matter. She spent eight years in journalism as a newscast producer before transitioning into nonprofit and strategic communications, where she continues to focus on amplifying the voices of her community.
Since leaving the newsroom, Brittany has worked with mission-driven organizations to shape messaging, build strong media relationships, and develop communication strategies that drive meaningful engagement. She is currently pursuing her Master of Arts in Strategic Communication and Innovation at Texas Tech University, where she continues to deepen her expertise in audience engagement and effective communication.
Brittany’s connection to the military community is both personal and ongoing, with her father having served as a U.S. Marine and her fiancé serving as an Air Force pilot. That lived experience continues to inform her work and deepens her commitment to supporting military families and ensuring their stories are seen, heard, and understood.
Outside of work, Brittany enjoys running, reading, and playing volleyball with the base spouses.
