Caitlin Jones-Martin

Caitlin Jones-Martin is a storyteller at heart and a Communications Fellow with Hiring Our Heroes at MFAN, where she champions the voices of military families. A proud Air Force veteran, she brings equal parts strategy, creativity, and heart to everything she does.

 

Caitlin Jones-Martin is a subject matter expert in strategic storytelling and engagement efforts to elevate the voices of military families. She is a seasoned communicator with nearly 20 years of experience leading public affairs teams around the world, from broadcasting with American Forces Network in Europe and Asia to shaping enterprise-wide communication strategies for the United States Air Force.

Throughout her career, Caitlin has specialized in amplifying military stories that matter, including documenting dignified transfers at Dover Air Force Base and teaching the next generation of broadcasters at the Defense Information School. She earned a Master of Arts in Strategic Communication and Innovation from Texas Tech University and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from American Military University. Her professional achievements include the John L. Levitow Award, the Public Affairs Communication Excellence Innovation Award, and the Public Affairs Hap Arnold Award.

Caitlin is deeply committed to the well-being of service members and their families and is passionate about building connections that strengthen the military community. She and her husband, a retired Air Force Chief Master Sergeant, are raising their three children in Texas. In her free time, she enjoys reading, listening to podcasts, and creating elaborate holiday decorations for her family and friends to enjoy.
