Christopher Field is an Army spouse and a writer. He married his wife in 2001 and has four children, ages 14, 10, 6, and 3.
Chris grew up in the Chicagoland area, earning two degrees in business from Cornell University while completing a post-grad year at the University of Notre Dame. He returned to school to study philosophy, and from 2000 to 2008 and 2011 to 2015, he taught the subject at the college level.
Most of Chris’ interactions with the military community have been online. In his spare time, he enjoys bringing wit and wisdom to the military family conversation through writing for MilitaryOneClick, Military Spouse magazine, NextGen MilSpouse, Macho Spouse, and DC Military Family Life’s magazine and website.
Chris says his greatest contribution to the military community is caring for his children. He also coaches sports teams in his community and was recently inducted into the Cornell Athletics Hall of Fame.
