Jeremy Gilliland

Jeremy is a U.S. Army veteran, active-duty military spouse, and three-time UiPath Global MVP who bridges innovation and service with every step.

Passion Areas:

  • Military spouse employment
  • Transition support for service members and veterans
  • Mental health awareness and advocacy for the military-connected community

Jeremy has been immersed in military life for as long as he can remember. With grandfathers who served in WWII, uncles who proudly wore Army and Marine Corps uniforms, and his own enlistment following 9/11, service is more than a tradition—it’s a family legacy. His journey began as an enlisted soldier and grew through multiple deployments, culminating in his selection and graduation at the top of the Army’s prestigious Green to Gold program.

After a decade of service and 11 PCS moves, Jeremy transitioned out of uniform and into the equally demanding role of military spouse, supporting his active-duty partner through an additional six PCS moves and navigating military life from a new angle. Together, they are raising a military-connected family and preparing for the final stretch of active service with seven years to go.

Professionally, Jeremy thrives at the intersection of technology and people. As a recognized leader in automation, he’s known not only for building innovative solutions but also for making them accessible—frequently sharing his expertise as a global speaker and thought leader. His perspective is uniquely shaped by military life: fast-moving, constantly changing, and always demanding resilience. That’s why he’s especially passionate about improving military spouse employment pathways, building stronger systems for transitioning service members, and addressing the mental health needs of the veteran community.

Outside of work, Jeremy finds joy in tech, speed, and play. Whether carving over 500 miles on his Onewheel, launching down the road in his EV, or unwinding in a late-night online gaming session with friends, he finds balance and connection in motion. After the kids are settled and the house is calm, there’s a high likelihood he’s squadding up for one more match. It’s a rhythm of life that mirrors his professional and military journey: fast, focused, and always evolving.
