Jessica Luckhardt, Ph.D.

Prior to her 15 years in the secondary and higher education classrooms, Jessica worked with AmeriCorps non-profits: City Year Detroit, Teach for America, and AmeriCorps – St. Louis in various roles. Her academic background includes a Master’s in Multicultural Literature (thesis: Building cultural competence through multicultural fiction), along with a PhD in Human Science (dissertation: Student perspectives on racial justice). Jessica’s professional interests include social justice, civic service, and cultural humility. At home, Jessica is a proud wife and mother who enjoys time outdoors with family, friends, and her dogs.
