Within her academic realm, she serves in leadership positions such as president of the Social Work Club, chief of staff for the Student Veteran Organization, and student ambassador for the Open Educational Resources Taskforce Committee. Fueling her fervor for accessible education, Jessie passionately engages in noteworthy projects centered on expanding Open Educational Resources and enhancing textbook accessibility for college students.
