Lauren Perez

Lauren Perez is a recent graduate of The George Washington University with a BA degree in Journalism and Mass Communication. She will be starting law school in the fall of 2021 where she hopes to pursue Constitutional and Media Law. During her time at GW, she was lucky enough to take two classes with Dr. Kimball, Media Law, and Qualitative Research.

She has developed a passion for fighting for truth and justice by tackling real word problems while working at The Hatchet, GW’s independent school newspaper. Lauren is passionate about telling others’ stories who may not have the means or voice to do it themselves. In her free time, she enjoys listening to podcasts and playing with her cat Smokey.
