Reda Hicks is an Army spouse, an active participant in activities through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, and a regular speaker for Homefront Rising, a bipartisan initiative that trains military spouses to speak up and run for office. She is also a founding member of the Military Spouse JD Network.
Reda spent a decade in a firm representing a wide array of clients in complex multinational litigation prior to becoming in-house counsel at one of the world’s largest shipping and logistics companies. She has been a practicing attorney since 2005.
In addition, Reda regularly supports Combined Arms, an association that aims to unite the military community to increase the impact that veterans have in Houston. Reda is also a contributor/mentor for Hiring Our Heroes – In Gear Career AMPLIFY program. She uses her positions on the boards of organizations like Leadership Houston and Sketch City to help create opportunities for veterans and spouses in Houston.
Reda prides herself on her ability to bring people together; she is working to determine how she can most effectively use this skill to help the military/veteran community.
