Rose Holland has dedicated over 30 years to serving the military community in a variety of roles, both as a volunteer and as family program staff. Through this work, she has witnessed inequities affecting military families. Her passion for supporting these families is deeply personal, shaped by her own experience as a military spouse of nearly 33 years.
Rose became an advocate for military families in the areas of career and employment, serving as a career counselor and providing insights to corporate and local organizations about the military community, helping them recognize the hidden talent pool within military families. She presented on these challenges at the 2025 Spacepower Conference. Currently, she also serves as the Learning and Development Manager at the Military Spouse Advocacy Network.
Rose holds a BBA in Finance from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee, a master’s in theological studies with a focus on pastoral care from Saint Norbert College in De Pere, Wisconsin, and a Doctorate in Education with a focus on Educational Sustainability from the University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point. Her dissertation examined military spouses in federal employment and their perceptions of federal employment changes during the pandemic.
