Sheena Parrish

She spent her early career in social work and higher education but found her passion when she began working for the U.S. Air Force as a Department of Defense civilian providing family support services for military members and their families. During the 5+ years she spent in this capacity, she completed her Master of Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma and achieved her Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC®) certification from the Association for Financial Counseling and Planning Education (AFCPE®).

Sheena is the spouse of an active-duty Air Force member and Olmsted Scholar. Their life-changing Olmsted experience took them to Santiago, Chile for two years where they enjoyed language learning, cultural immersion, and countless adventures. Upon their return to the U.S., Sheena made a career transition into the nonprofit realm where she spent 3+ years as a program manager. Sheena attained her B.S. in Human Ecology, majoring in Human Development and Family Science from The Ohio State University. She is currently in pursuit of the Project Management Professional (PMP®) designation.
