Kayla Calica Whitehead

At the heart of Kayla’s work is a deep commitment to making a meaningful difference in the lives of others. With over a decade of experience aiding vulnerable communities, her journey has taken her from serving abroad in the Philippines to supporting local organizations that assist survivors of trafficking and abuse, women facing unexpected pregnancies, and military communities. A proud Brigham Young University alumna, Kayla’s transition into fundraising reflects her commitment to creating sustainable change. She recognized that while direct service transforms individual lives, strategic fundraising builds the infrastructure needed for long-term impact, guiding her approach to developing partnerships and securing resources that amplify organizational missions.

As an Air National Guard spouse, she is especially eager to serve the Military community with MFAN. Outside of work, Kayla enjoys hiking Utah trails with her husband, Chasen, and their two rescue huskies, Sugar and Kudu. She loves to travel and document life through Super 8 video and film photography. Through every project, whether fundraising or creative, Kayla seeks to tell stories that inspire meaningful change.
