MFAN Marks 10th Anniversary, Welcomes New Board Members

November 01, 2023

WASHINGTON (November 1, 2023) – Military Family Advisory Network (MFAN), a national nonprofit dedicated to serving America’s military and veteran families, has elected four new members to the board of directors with immediate effect.

The additions — Jimmy Anderson, Joe Cardona, Stephanie Crosse, and Sarah Holley — represent the diversity of the military-connected community and add decades of invaluable experience to MFAN’s mission.

“This year marks 10 years of service for MFAN and we are thrilled to welcome an accomplished and dedicated group of professionals to our board of directors during this exciting time of growth,” said Rosemary Williams, Chair of MFAN’s Board of Directors. “Their diverse perspectives, professional acumen, and commitment to this community — military, veterans, their families, caregivers, and survivors — will play an integral role in shaping MFAN’s continued positive impact on military families for many years.”

Each will be presented at MFAN’s 10th anniversary event, “Celebrating a Decade of Service,” hosted in our nation’s capital on the evening of November 1, 2023.

November marks the start of National Veterans and Military Families Month, a fitting backdrop for such a momentous occasion. The 10th anniversary event will showcase MFAN’s contributions to the military and veteran family space since 2013 and pay tribute to the legacies built by those in uniformed service and the families who serve alongside them.

“It’s been the privilege of a lifetime to support military-connected families over these last 10 years,” said Shannon Razsadin, MFAN President and Executive Director. “Our progress is a testament to the strength of those we serve and the steadfast support of our partners. And we’re just getting started.”

Joe is an active participant in his community and works regularly with local schools, businesses, and charities to have a positive impact off the field.
